Homemade Chocolate Cake Recipe for Marriage Anniversary

Marriage Anniversary is a special occasion in your life. No matter, whether it is yours 1st anniversary or 25th. You can do lots of things to make this day more special and eventful for your loved one. Today 1st Mar is our anniversary. We have completed 7 successful years or married life. I celebrated it with my husband by preparing this chocolate cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 self-raising flour (maida), sifted
  • 1/4 cocoa, sifted
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • Few drops vanilla extract
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup oil
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk

For Icing

  • 25g dark chocolate
  • 25g chopped butter
  • Chocolate bolls

Method

Sift flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt in a bowl and mix them.

Now in another bowl beat egg add milk, oil, vanilla essence and water and then beat it again. Pour this egg mixture into flour mixture. Light beat again. This cake batter will be quite thin.

Preheat the oven at 180°C. Grease a 7 inches aluminum dish and dust it with flour. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes.

After it is baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool.

For icing take a bowl; Mix melted chocolate and butter and let them cool. Spread the chocolate and butter mixture on the top of the cake. Decorate it with chocolate bolls.

 

Homemade Apple Sponge Cake Recipe-Tooty Fruity Apple Cake

The power of apple in the sponge cake.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 30 minutes

Apple Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 1
  • Refined wheat flour (maida) – 125g
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda – 1 tsps
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar – 5 tbsp
  • Butter – 70g
  • Milk – 6 tbsp
  • Hot water – 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Tooty Fruity – For Decoration

Method:

First of all soften the apple slices in microwave for 30 seconds and keep them aside.

In a bowl add caster sugar in melted butter. Mix it well.

Add egg, flour, milk, water, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla essence and mix well after every addition.

Grease the baking dish and then dust with sugar. Put a layer of soften apple slices into the dish as shown in picture.

Now pour the cake batter.

Now bake it about for 30 – 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ºC.

Make upside down of the cake in a serving dish and decorate it with tooty fruity.

Enjoy delicious Apple upside down cake.

Homemade Mango Cake Recipe With Less Sugar

Mango Cake

This cake I made for those who are interested less sugar and calories in health point of view. I didn’t use any sugar substitute. For more taste you can add more sugar and more butter and decorate it with creamy frosting.

Mango Cake Recipe

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 2 small
  • Refined wheat flour (maida) – 1 ½ cups
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Sugar – ½ cup
  • Butter – ½ cup
  • Salt: ½ tsp (In case of using unsalted butter)
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Mango extract – 1 tsp
  • Orange color – ½ tsp
  • Mango – ¾ cup diced

 

Method:

Sift flour, salt (optional) and baking powder in a bowl. Preheat the oven at 180 ºC. Now beat and cream the melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one after one and mix it well.

Add milk then essence and color to get a bright color and lovely smell. Now pour the sifted flour mixture into this wet mixture and gently fold it.

Now add mango dices in this mixture. Pour this mixture in a greased baking dish.

Bake it in a preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. And then test it with the help of a toothpick, if it comes out clean remove the cake from oven and let it cool.

Invert the cake to remove it from the baking dish. You can serve it in fish shape too.

Enjoy the cake guilt free.

Lunchbox Special Homemade Muffins for Kids

Today I am sharing a simple lunch special muffins for kids. My daughter liked it very much; I hope you’re your kids will love it. Let’s start.

Muffin for Kids

Basic Muffin

This is basic muffin recipe which I gave pineapple flavor, but you can skip adding the flavor.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients: For 6 muffins

  • Eggs – 1
  • Refined wheat flour (maida) – 200g
  • Baking powder – 2 tsp
  • Sugar – 100g
  • Oil – 70ml
  • Salt: ½ tsp
  • Milk – 125ml
  • Pineapple essence – few drops
  • Tooty fruity – 20-25 (optional)

Method:

Beat the egg in a mixing bowl and then add oil and milk. Then add the sugar and whisk until dissolved. Now add few drops of pineapple essence.

Shift all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and mix them.

Preheat the oven at 180 ºC. Mix dry ingredients mixture with egg mixture and fill 2/3rd of the muffin molds by this mixture. Put 3-4 pieces of tooty fruity on the top of every muffin and place the molds into the oven for 25-30 minutes.

Remove muffins from oven and take a toothpick test, if it comes out clean then your muffins are ready. Enjoy these easy to make delicious muffins with your kids.

Cut the cake into big pieces and enjoy the tangy flavor of it.
